Be a Virtual Greeter

Choice Option: Be a Virtual Greeter on-screen or in the comments section
What’s the time commitment? 1 or 2 worship services per month. If you are a greeter in the Facebook comments, you can simply attend worship on Facebook as normal from 11am-12pm. If you are a Virtual Greeter on-screen, you will meet early at 10:30am with the live worship team.
Why does this matter? You will be an integral part of Advent’s mission to welcome all people to experience and live out God’s love by making everyone, including first-time worshipers, feel seen, noticed, and loved at worship.
How will I grow? This is an opportunity for you to grow in your faith and leadership at Advent too. Welcoming people in worship is an opportunity to grow in leadership, model the welcoming example of Jesus, and share God’s love with others.
How will I be equipped and supported? We’ll help you develop the skills you need through clear instructions, helpful resources, and regular check-ins. We’ll encourage you, ask questions about what challenges come up, listen to your stories, and pray with you.
Am I on the hook forever? No. Your commitment is through September 31. At that time, you will get to choose your next step:
