Stewardship Sunday - November 24
What is stewardship?
Stewardship is the belief that God calls us to take care of the world with our resources and time.
Why does Advent ask for pledges?
A pledge is a commitment and estimate of your planned giving to Advent in 2020. Pledges help us create our 2020 budget. Our Budget Committee uses pledges we get to project our income in 2020, which determines our budget, which determines the scope of our ministry.
If you are planning to give in Advent in 2020, making an estimate and letting us know in advance empowers our ministry because it enables us to plan a budget that includes your gifts.
How do I submit a pledge?
Option 1: Print a pledge card, fill it out, and bring it forward during the Offering in worship on Stewardship Sunday, November 24. If you are on our membership roles, you should have also received a letter and pledge card in the mail.
Option 2: Submit your pledge online. This is a quick, easy way to submit your pledge at any time convenient for you. We ask that you submit your pledge by Sunday, November 24 or as soon as possible, to help the work of our Budget Team. However that is not hard deadline. If you need more time to discern, we understand.
