The sanctuary is where we gather to praise God. As part of our Flower Power team of flower arrangers, you add a splash of color to our sanctuary. You help bring the beauty of God's creation indoors, adding vibrance and life our sanctuary as we gather for worship. Your arrangement of flowers is an offering, a gift to God, a thank-you to God for such beauty, and a gift to the people who worship here.
How it Works
Once you sign up, one of our Flower Power coordinators will reach out to share more information and help get you started. Everyone in Flower Power takes a turn arranging the flowers for one Sunday. Once you're ready to start, you'll be added to the ongoing schedule. Anyone is welcome to be a flower arranger here. If you think you'd enjoy arranging flowers here, we invite you to sign up today!

Fred is long-time member of Advent. He loves music and cooking. He's a leader in both our Flower Power and Community Lunch ministries, and is active in many other groups and events here at Advent.
Maury is retired from 24 years in the fashion industry and 19 years teaching at FIT. He misses his garden in Pennsylvania..
