Worship | 9am & 11am in English, 12:30pm in Spanish
Get ready for Tanzanian-style worship! Spoiler: It includes a lot of Lutheran hymns. Tanzanian Lutherans are Lutherans, and sing from the same hymnal we do, translated into their own language, Swahili.
One unique element of Tanzanian worship we'll do is an offering of food for the community. Bring non-perishables with you to participate in this offering. In Tanzanian communities, this offering of actual food reflects the needs of the community. (Are we really so different, though, with our Food Pantry and Community Lunch?)
Pastor Margay Whitlock, an Advent member who happens to also be a pastor, will preach on her own experience in Tanzania.

Stewardship
We'll also take this Sunday to give thanks for all the ways God has blessed us, and reflect on our practice of stewardship through Advent and the broader Lutheran Church.
