Music is a way we pray twice.
"The spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words to express." - Romans 8:26
There’s something about a melody, a harmony, a note, a frequency, that connects with us in a way that words cannot. Music is the language of God. Our Advent Chorale leads the congregation in singing hymns, and offers up special music in worship. They bring incredible beauty and energy into our sanctuary and our worship. They bring scripture and theology to life in melody. If you have a passion for music and singing, being part of our Chorale is a wonderful way to participate in worship, create and share beauty with others, and offer up praise to God.
How it Works
The Advent Chorale rehearses every Thursday from 7:30-8:30pm. The Chorale sings in worship about twice a month, alternating between the 9am and 11am worship services. When you sign up, our Chorale director, Aaron Wunsch, will reach out to you with more information about rehearsals and help you get started.
